The Cardinals have always been a weak television draw, but their run to the NFC Championship Game last season left the NFL obligated to give them primetime exposure. In a season marked by poor primetime ratings, look for Sunday Night Football to struggle once again especially if the NLCS goes seven. Prediction: 9.8.NFL national window: Patriots-Steelers (4:25 p.m. Sunday, CBS). This matchup has lost some luster due to Ben Roethlisberger's injury, but it is still the 5-1 Patriots against the 4-2 Steelers. Look for CBS to earn its top rating of the season and threaten last year's comparable mark of 14.4 for Cowboys-Giants on FOX. Prediction: 14.3.NFL singleheader: Mostly Vikings-Eagles or Chargers-Falcons (1 or 4 p.m. Sunday, FOX). With nearly half the country getting the marquee Vikings-Eagles matchup, look for FOX to score the season's highest rating for a singleheader window. The current mark is an 11.1; last year's comparable telecast on CBS had an 11.6. Prediction: 11.8.NFL International Series: Giants-Rams (9:30 a.m. Sunday, NFL Network). NASCAR has been running on fumes lately, with 10 of the past 11 races hitting multi-year lows in ratings and viewership (excluding rainouts). Look for the bad times to continue, as last year's 2.6 seems like too high a bar for NBCSN this season.
